2016 Creative and Writing Goals

It’s that time of year again. After critiquing and assessing 2015 I’ve been thinking about the year ahead. I want 2016 to be a huge year. So here are my 2016 Creative and Writing Goals: 2016 Theme: Done is Better than Perfect.   Books to Complete: Kids workbook. At least 1. Adult Coloring Book. Finish Confessions of a Comperholic. Finish Active Affirmations. 2 X Novellas 2 X Adventure Thrillers. Writing: Write at least 500 words EVERY DAY. Write even when I don’t feel like it. Improve grammar and punctuation. Marketing and Sales: Master tracking pixels and Facebook ads. Master ROI on FB ads. Increase subscriber list by 5000 people. Sell 3000 books […]

What is the game of ‘Writer’? Learning the craft, reading, blogging, building an audience, building a subscriber list? Working Actively towards your goals with Patience, working consistently, having a long term view, growing and evolving. The Game is probably all of the above and more. Complicated, simple and yet different for everyone. And just when you thought you were two steps forward, you’re three steps back. How to Manage the pull of too many projects

I don’t know where I was but suddenly the idea came to me. I questioned whether I could do it. My sister said ‘You need an artist!’. I agreed but still I tried. Then I realised I could do it after all. I totally surprised myself. What happened next was an intense 2 weeks of creativity. My new project had take over my life.
